What is ITEM?

ITEM is a Masters research and training institute dedicated to the environmental transition. Located in the heart of the University of Aix-Marseille, it gathers all the courses in physical, natural, human, legal, social and health sciences from the masters to the doctoral schools.

The environmental transition is a major societal challenge to ensure the well-being of future generations. Connected to the international scene and continuously infused by multidisciplinary research, ITEM provides the necessary training to students to respond to organisations seeking the path of their environmental transition.

Who is ITEM for?

ITEM welcomes students wishing to acquire the necessary skills to accompany the environmental transition plans of private and public organisations in France and abroad. Our training courses will give you a multidisciplinary view essential to the resolution of complex problems related to our modern world.
