Logo Atypie-Friendly

Atypie-Friendly is financed by the France 2030 Program, part of the National Strategy for Autism. It brings together 25 partner universities committed to the inclusion of students with an ASD.
Previously dedicated to supporting students with autism (Aspie-Friendly), it is gradually opening up to other neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders with or without hyperactivity and Specific Learning Disorders...)

The aim: to build an inclusive university by improving the reception of students with ASD and supporting them towards social and professional integration.

What does Atypie-Friendly do for you?

We start from your individual needs.

Our actions with you:
- Before entering university: Facilitate your orientation and transition to higher education, in liaison with your secondary school (lycée)
- At university: Set up a study accommodation that meets your needs during your university course
- On leaving university: Work on your social and professional integration.

No standard accommodation: support is tailored to each student and each course of study.

A few examples of accommodations:
- Spreading out the duration of studies
- Organizing exams (composition in a special room, adapted subjects, etc.)
- Proposing special pedagogical adaptations whenever possible.

Yes: accommodations are made to compensate for a disability. They do not give you any advantage over other students. They are a right. In fact, it benefits everyone and helps the university move forward.
